About Arm's India GCC
The Arm Noida Design Center (2013) plays a specialized role in Arm’s global semiconductor R&D ecosystem, focusing on Physical IP platform development. Its core expertise includes designing IP platforms in planar, FinFET, and FDSOI process technologies, along with the development of SRAM-based memories, standard cell libraries, GPIO blocks, and test chips. The team collaborates across multiple IP units and works closely with foundries and global customers to deliver silicon-ready IP, with responsibilities spanning technical leadership, platform integration, and team management. Meanwhile, the Arm Bengaluru center operates as a full-scale Global Capability Center (GCC) and is one of Arm’s largest hubs outside the UK. It serves as an end-to-end R&D powerhouse driving SoC architecture, CPU/GPU design and verification, software enablement, functional safety, and partner enablement across global OEMs. The center supports cutting-edge innovation in hardware-software co-design, enabling compute platforms for a diverse range of applications within Arm’s global silicon ecosystem.
