Intuit’s GCC/India Development Center - Bengaluru Core Functions & Contributions: Product Development & Engineering Innovation Intuit India is a Centre of Excellence for product development, technology, and engineering, contributing approximately 22% of the company’s global engineering talent. Teams based in Bangalore lead end-to-end development for major product lines, including QuickBooks, TurboTax, Lacerte, and their Virtual Expert Platform, along with supporting platforms like Billing and Developer Experience. AI, Cloud, and Workflow Automation Many foundational elements of QuickBooks Online Advanced (QBO Adv)—such as workflow automation, reporting and insights, integration (“connect apps”), role-based access, and customization tools—have been built in India. These teams also leverage cloud-native architectures, AI/ML, and open-source technologies. Customer-Focused Innovation The IDC has developed customer-centric products like Intuit Aid Assist (a free estimator for U.S. small businesses to access government relief) and the Virtual Expert Platform, enabling virtual consultations for TurboTax Live users.
