About Yamaha Motor's India GCC

Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. has established Yamaha Motor Research and Development India Pvt. Ltd. (YMRI) in Surajpur, State of Uttar Pradesh, which is to become the motorcycle R&D headquarters in India. This initiative is intended to increase Yamaha's manufacturing competitiveness in the country. The R&D centre will focus on manufacturing products that not only cater to the needs of the Indian customers but also overseas customers. The facility has a dedicated R&D team, equipment and a test track.
